Lindsay entered this campaign because of her deep commitment to public service, equal justice, and the belief that our courts should be fair, accessible, and worthy of the public’s trust.

Throughout this journey, we have been humbled by the encouragement, generosity, and support we received from friends, neighbors, colleagues, community leaders, volunteers, and supporters across Seattle.

This decision was not made lightly. Ultimately, for personal reasons, we have concluded that this is the right time to focus our attention on our family. Our children are at an important stage in their lives, and we believe that our family needs and deserves more of our time and energy in the months ahead.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who believed in Lindsay’s candidacy and invested in this campaign. Your support, confidence, and friendship have meant more to us than we can adequately express.

Although Lindsay is stepping away from this campaign, her commitment to serving the community remains unchanged. She will continue her work as an attorney and advocate, striving every day to advance justice, fairness, and opportunity for others.
